Volume one of a two-volume collection of "previously unheard" film music by Wendy Carlos. This one has 32 segments consisting of music created for "The Shining," a few previously lost tracks meant to "A Clockwork Orange," as well as compositions for a series of UNICEF films.
The music has all be meticulously restored from the original master tapes, converted to the digital domain using Wendy's "Hi-D" 20-bit conversion technique, and it sounds breathtaking.
